நண்பன் படத்தில் சிட்டி ரோபோ தோற்றத்தில் இளைய தளபதி விஜய்..?
ரா ஒன்னில் ரோபோவாக ஒரு காட்சியில் நடித்து திரும்பியிருக்கும் அந்தப் படத்தை பார்க்க தயாராகி விட்டார்கள் ரஜினியின் ரசிகர்கள்.
ஆனால் இளைய தளபதி விஜய், சிட்டி ரோபோ கெட்-அப்பில் நடித்திருகிறார் என்பதுதான் கொலிவுட்டில் அணல் பறக்கப் போகும் செய்தி.
ஆம் ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய் நடித்து வரும் நண்பன் படத்தில் இடம்பெரும் ஒரு பாடல் காட்சியில்தான் சிட்டி ரோபோ தோற்றத்தில் ஒரு சரணம் முழுவதும் விஜய் தோன்ற இருக்கிறாராம்.
இதை விட இன்னும் ஹாட்டான ஒரு கெட்–அப்பையும் போடுகிறார் விஜய். அதேபாடலில் இந்தியன் கமலாகவும் கெட்-அப் போடுகிறாராம். இதுவரை மாறுபட்ட தோற்றங்கள் குறித்து விஜய் யோசித்ததே இல்லை.
இதற்குக் காரணம் விஜயின் முகம் மிக இளமையன தோற்றத்துடன் இருகிறது என்று அவரது அப்பா சொல்லி வந்தார். ஆனால் விஜய் முதல் முறையாக சிக்ஸ் பேக் உடலுடன் வேலயுதம் படத்தில் நடித்திருகிறார்.
தற்போது நண்பனில் சோதனை முயற்சியாக இருக்கட்டும் என்று நினைத்தாரோ என்னவோ, இந்த இரண்டு கெட் அப்புகளையும் நாம் பாடல்காட்சிகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்தலாம் என்று இயக்குனர் ஷங்கர் சொன்ன போது மறுப்பு ஏதும் சொல்ல வில்லையாம் விஜய். இந்த இரண்டு கெட் அப்புகளையும் ரசிகர்கள் திரையில் மட்டுமே கண்டு களிக்க முடியும்.

விஜய் தந்த மோதிரம்.....!
எவ்வளவுதான் பார்த்து பார்த்து படங்களில் நடித்திருந்தாலும், கடைசியாக அதை திரையில் பார்க்கும் போது இந்த காட்சியில் இன்னும் சற்று நன்றாக நடித்திருக்காலமே என்று தோன்றும். பெரும்பாலான ஹீரோக்களின் சினிமா வாழ்க்கையில் இதுதான் நடக்கும்.
ஆனால் வேலாயுதம் படத்தை பார்த்த விஜய் இது எனக்கான பர்பெஃக்ட் படம் என்றாராம். பரம திருப்தியோடு இருக்கும் அவர் செய்த முதல் காரியம், படத்தில் பணிபுரிந்த அத்தனை உதவி இயக்குனர்களையும் அழைத்ததுதான். சுமார் பதினைந்து உதவி இயக்குனர்களுக்கு தங்க சங்கிலியும், தங்க மோதிரமும் அணிவித்து சந்தோஷப்பட்டாராம். சற்று கால தாமதமாக திரையரங்குகளை புக் பண்ண ஆரம்பித்தாலும், தமிழகம் முழுக்க நல்ல தியேட்டர்களும் அமைந்திருப்பதால் அந்த வகையிலும் திருப்திதானாம் விஜய்க்கு.
Vijay Speaks On 'Velayudham' & Its Highlights
As ‘Velayudham’ is gearing up for a Diwali release and the team is running from pillar to post as part of the promotional activities, IG caught up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for an interview. Read on as Vijay gets candid and speaks on his role in Velayudham, clarifies reports on the much talked about Dookudu remake, his project with AL Vijay, his plans this Diwali and a lot more!Excerpts from the chat with the ace personality…
How did this film with Jayam Raja happen?
I have watched all his films and I was supposed to work with him two years back itself under Sanguli Murugan sir’s banner. We missed out on it and he started off a project with his brother, Jayam Ravi. Then we met one day and he came with a one-liner on Velayudham which interested me so we started off with this project immediately. I asked him jokingly whether he will do movies only with his brother and not me and that’s how all this started off.
This is a commercial entertainer and you have delivered many time and again. But this is your first part superhero project, what’s special about it? What about the horse riding scenes?
Yes but this is not a superhero film with extra powers for the hero or something on those lines. 'Velayudham' portrays the hero somewhere between a common man and a superhero. Speaking on horse riding, actually I learnt horse riding quite a while ago, even before stepping into films. All the training is being of use to me now (smiles).
Most of your films highlight upon brother – sister bonding, but can we say your bond with Saranya forms the crux of this plot as she has reported in an interview?
No it definitely is not the crux of the film but can be called as one of the highlights in 'Velayudham'. No matter what, be it now or after many years, this is one relationship among our folk that will never change! It’s an evergreen something.
Speaking on stunts, are there other highlights apart from the train stunt sequence?
Tom Delmar did the train sequence and yes, much has been spoken about it to audiences already. Apart from this there’s a fight scene in a harbor which will definitely be a big highlight in 'Velayudham', I can assure it will be something very interesting to look forward to and something my fans will enjoy watching on-screen.
How true is it that there are 30 comedians?
Well, I can say that under Santhanam’s captainship there will 29 comedians. There’s a whole team of comedians itself that he heads so we have meant it in that way.
All your forthcoming films are with top-notch directors, Murugadoss, Gautham Menon and Shankar. We understand we'll be seeing a suave avatar of Vijay, but why haven't we seen this earlier?
To tell the truth, honestly, I have been approached by all these directors only now and I loved the scripts so I accepted them. It is not like I wanted to do these kind of films only now but these projects are coming my way only now and I am happy to accept them.
Are you doing Dookudu remake?
I watched the film, I really liked and enjoyed watching it but I am not doing the film’s Tamil remake.
Udhaynidhi has expressed he’ll watch 'Velayudham' first show. When will you watch '7aum Arivu'?
I will definitely watch it on Diwali, no doubts about that but I don’t know which show. I will watch '7aum Arivu', my film 'Velayudham' and 'Ra.One' on Diwali. How many ever films will release that day I will watch them all the very same day, no doubts. That’s how crazy I am about films (smiles).
No doubts we see a balance between Hansika & Genelia in trailers, but can you tell what will be the highlight?
The director has beautifully balanced between Hansika and Genelia’s character. There’s no way anyone can compare their characters since they are so different from one another. My scenes with both of them are like two different episodes to frame it rightly. However I must say that Genelia’s character plays a key role in my character seeing a change in the film, from that of a commoner to that of a superhero.
About your film with AL Vijay…
Yes we both are talking about it but it will take time, probably even two more years to go on floors! But there’s a lot of time for an official announcement on this front.

It may be mentioned that Vijay has a huge fan following in the God's Own Country as well as in Karnataka.
"Velayudham is screened in more than 120 theaters in Kerala and roughly about 100 theatres in Karnataka", says Ravichandran.
"Velayudham focuses on important social issues besides being packaged with the signature style of mass masala elements intact which is usually associated with a Vijay film", says an inside source.
Aascar Ravi also clarified that 'Velayudham' will be releasing in as many as 40 theaters in the city ruling out the rumour that it is screened in less number of screens.

சங்கரின் பேட்டி
ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில் முதன் முறையாக விஜய் நடித்து இருக்கும் படம் 'நண்பன்'. இலியானா நாயகியாக நடிக்க, ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜ் இசையமைத்து வருகிறார். ஜெமினி பிலிம்ஸ் தயாரித்து வருகிறது.
தீபாவளி தினத்தன்று வெளியீடு என்று தொடங்கப்பட்ட படம் தான் 'நண்பன்'. ஆனால் 'வேலாயுதம்' படத்தின் தாமதத்தால் தீபாவளி வெளியீடாக 'வேலாயுதம்' வெளிவர இருக்கிறது.

Vijay back from Dubai
After spending a one week holiday in Dubai, Vijay is now back in Chennai and has watched out the first copy of his forthcoming film Velayudham at Preview Theater. Also he inaugurated the Jos Alukkas Jewellery in bangalore.
The actor who was tired taking part in the long schedules of Velayudham and Nanban left to Dubai for a break. With the release date nearing by, the star is back from Dubai and is looking forward for Velayudham release [26th October]. As per the reports, the film has shaped well and he is all happy with the outcome. Velayudham is directed by M Raja and has Genelia and Hansika as the female leads.
Apart from this, Vijay is also said to be involved in the discussions of the script work of his next film to be directed by AR Murugadoss. We are yet to wait for the official announcement on the launch and further cast and crew details.

Velayudham gets 38 screens in Chennai alone
As the movie has been cleared by the Regional Censor Board, the makers of Vijay'sVelayudham has kick-started the promotions. They have started giving ads about the movies on newspapers (English and Tamil) and have released the list of theatres, which will screen the forthcoming Tamil movie.
Velayudham, which is hitting on October 26, has got 38 screens alone in Chennai. The movie is expected to release worldwide in somewhere between 350 to 380 screens, says a trade source. It is said that the film would have released in more theatres if Surya's 7aam Arivuwas not hitting the screens at the same time.
Vijay, Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani starrer Velayudham is action movie, which has brother-sister bonding as the main theme. The movie directed by Jayam Raja and produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Velayudham " U " Certificate
Yesterday evening, the film was watched by the committee members and they are elated for having experienced a good entertainer.
The committee members appreciated Jeyam Raja for having given a good family entertainer.
Vijay's Velayudham has convinced the censor board officials and they have certified it with a clear U certificate. The film directed by Jayam Raja has Genelia and Hansika Motwani as the leading ladies and Saranya Mohan plays his sister.
The comedy is handled by Santhanam. Vijay's film is always for the mass and with a clear U it is all set to rock and convince one and all. Let us get ready with a Velayudham Diwali this 2011.

விஜய்யுடன் மீண்டும் நடிக்க ஆசை : ப்ரியங்கா சோப்ரா...!
பாலிவுட் நடிகையாக இருந்தாலும் ப்ரியங்கா சோப்ரா, முதன்முதலில் ஹீரோயினாக களமிறங்கியது என்னவோ கோலிவுட்டில் தான். விஜய்க்கு ஜோடியாக தமிழன் படத்தில் அறிமுகமாகி, தற்போது பாலிவுட்டில் முன்னணி நடிகையாக வலம் வந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ப்ரியங்கா சோப்ரா, தமிழ் படங்களில் நடிக்க ஆர்வமாக இருப்பதாகவும், குறிப்பாக என்னுடைய முதல்பட ஹீரோ விஜய்யுடன் மீண்டும் நடிக்க ஆவலாய் இருப்பதாகவும் கூறியுள்ளார்.
கடந்த சிலதினங்களுக்கு முன்னர், சாம்பியன்ஸ் லீக் கிரிக்கெட் இறுதிபோட்டியை காண சென்னை வந்திருந்தார் ப்ரியங்கா. அப்போது பேட்டியளித்த அவர், சினிமாவில் நான் அறிமுகமானது கோலிவுட்டில் தான். முதல்படத்தில் விஜய்யுடன் சேர்ந்து நடித்தேன். விஜய் மீது எனக்கு எப்பவும் ஒரு தனி ப்ரியம் உண்டு. அவருடன் நடித்ததை என்னால் மறக்க முடியாது. விஜய் மட்டுமல்லாது இங்குள்ள பல ஹீரோக்களையும் எனக்கு ரொம்ப பிடிக்கும். தமிழ் சினிமா முன்பை விட, இப்போது பலமடங்கு மாற்றம் கண்டுள்ளது. அருமையான கதை, பாடல், நடனம், சண்டைக்காட்சி என்று தமிழ் சினிமாக்காரர்கள் மிரட்டுகின்றனர்.
சமீபத்திய சில தமிழ் படங்களை பார்த்து நான் வியந்து போனேன். எனக்கும் தமிழ் படங்களில் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆசை வந்துவிட்டது. அதிலும் குறிப்பாக என்னுடைய முதல் ஹீரோ விஜய்யுடன், மீண்டும் நடிக்க ஆர்வமாய் இருக்கிறேன். எனது கனவு நிறைவேறினால் மிகழ்ச்சியடைவேன். அதேசமயம் தமிழ் படங்களில் நடிக்க ஆர்வம் இருந்தாலும் கொஞ்சம் பயமும் இருக்கிறது. அதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம் இங்குள்ள ஹீரோக்களுக்கு சமமாக எப்படி ஆடப்போகிறேன் என்ற கவலை மட்டும் தான் என்கிறார்.
சென்னை தனக்கு ரொம்ப பிடித்த ஊர் என்றும், சென்னை வந்து இறங்கியதும் ஹோட்டலில் நான் ஆர்டர் செய்யும் முதல் அயிட்டம் மீன் குழம்பு தான். சென்னை மீன் குழம்புக்கு நான் மிகப்பெரிய ரசிகை என்றார். கூடவே சென்னையில் தனது உறவினர்கள் வீடு இருக்கிறது, இருந்தும் நான் இதுவரை சென்னையை முழுசா சுற்றி பார்த்தது இல்லை என்று கூறும் ப்ரியங்கா, யாராவது எனக்கு சென்னையை முழுசா சுற்றி காண்பிக்க முன் வருவீர்களா என்று கேட்கிறார்.
வேலாயுதம் படத்தில் 30 காமெடியன்கள்
இளைய தளபதி விஜய் நடித்த 'வேலாயுதம்' படம் விரைவில் திரைக்கு வரவிருக்கிறது. படத்தை ஜெயம் ராஜா இயக்கியுள்ளார். விஜய் ஆண்டனி இசையமைத்துள்ளார். விஜய் படம் என்பதால், ஆக்ஷன் சமமாக படத்தில் அதிக காமெடி காட்சிகள் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக ராஜா தெரிவித்துள்ளார். மேலும் வேலாயுதம் படத்தில் சந்தானத்துடன் 30 காமெடியன்கள் கூட்டணி அமைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். சந்தானம் அவர்களின் லீடர். அதுமட்டுமின்றி ஹன்சிகாவின் காமெடியும் படத்தில் பேசப்படும் என ஜெயம் ராஜா கூறியுள்ளார்.

இலங்கையில் களைகட்டிய வேலாயுதம்
டைரக்டர் ஷங்கரின் 'நண்பனை' நம்பும் கொமெடியன்
ஹிந்தி படமான 'த்ரீ இடியட்ஸ்' ஓமி வைத்யா நடித்த கதாபாத்திரத்தில் தமிழில் 'நண்பனில்' கொமெடி நட்சத்திரம் சத்யன் நடித்துள்ளார்.
படம் முழுதும் வருகிற மாதிரியான கதாபாத்திரத்தை எனக்கு டைரக்டர் ஷங்கர் சார் கொடுத்துள்ளார்.
இதில் இளைய தளபதி விஜய் கூட நடிப்பது எனக்கு மிகவும் பெருமையாக உள்ளது. அவருடன் நான் ஏற்கனவே 'அழகிய தமிழ் மகன்' 'வேட்டைக்காரன்' ஆகிய இந்த இரண்டு படங்களிலும் நடித்திருக்கின்றேன்.
விஜய் நேரில்தான் அமைதியாக தெரிவார் கொமெடியில் சும்மா பின்னிடுவார். டைரக்டர் ஷங்கர் சார், சினிமா உலகில் பந்தா இல்லாமல் எல்லோரிடமும் சகஜமாக பழகும் 'லெஜென்ட்' அவர்.
நண்பன் படத்தின் மூலமாக எனக்கு பெரிய வாய்ப்பை தந்துள்ளார் அவர். இந்தப்படத்துக்கு பிறகு என் சினிமா கேரியர் உயரத்துக்கு போகும் என நம்புகின்றேன்.
இந்த வாய்ப்பை கொடுத்த ஷங்கர் சாருக்கு என் நன்றிகள் என்று சத்யன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
